Is the point that we should be sharing this info?

I don’t at all understand why all these greening conferences are so expensive. Should we be encouraging people to get this info? I understand fees to support the costs of the event, but hundreds of dollars? If we are waging a battle for sustainability this is war profiteering. This is no black water or halibuton, but I feel my excitement is being manupulated.
